Description
The Payoneer Payment Gateway for Easy Digital Downloads integrates seamlessly with Easy Digital Downloads, Easy Digital Downloads Pro and license, and subscription features.
• Key Features:
– Works in both Hosted (redirect) and Native (direct processing) modes.
– Supports EDD recurring subscriptions and automatically generates license keys (for those using the “Pro” version of EDD with Software Licensing).
– Handles transactions, refunds (full or partial), chargebacks, and the complete 3DS flow (both 3DS1 and 3DS2).
– Compatible with multi-currency setups and supports trial periods if needed.
– Easily switch between live and test (sandbox) API endpoints using the Test Mode setting.
• Install & Activate: Copy the plugin folder (“payoneer-checkout-edd”) into your wp-content/plugins directory.
Log in to WordPress and activate “Payoneer Checkout for Easy Digital Downloads” from the Plugins menu.
• Configuration Steps:
– In your WordPress dashboard, go to Downloads > Settings > Payment Gateways, and select Payoneer Checkout.
– Enter your Payoneer API token, choose your integration mode (Hosted or Native), and enable Test Mode if you’re testing.
– The Webhook Notification URL should be set with this format: https://yourdomain.com/?pce_notification=1
• Setting Up Webhooks:
– Log in to your Payoneer dashboard, and in the API/Developer or Webhooks section, paste the Notification URL provided in your plugin settings. This step allows Payoneer to send real-time status updates (such as transaction approvals, refunds, chargebacks, and more) to your site.
• Testing & Going Live:
– Make a test purchase with Test Mode enabled to verify that transactions, subscriptions, refunds, 3DS flows, and webhooks function properly.
– Once confirmed working, disable Test Mode and update your API credentials to begin processing live transactions.
